IE CHINA CENTER
ABOUT THE IE CHINA CENTER
Now a global economic and business superpower, China is a vast, growing market and investment opportunity for Western corporations and the referent for technological innovation and new business models.
Which is why IE University, recognized by the Chinese Ministry of Education and already a partner with several of China’s most prestigious academic institutions, is deepening its presence in China through an ambitious, multi-pronged strategy, the centerpiece of which is the IE China Center at IE. Based in Madrid, this center of excellence will pursue the following main objectives:
- Showcase China’s best practices and new business models
- Generate joint applied research with China’s key academic and business players
- Facilitate personal and professional relationships between China and Europe’s business and academic communities
- Put the Chinese business world on IE’s educational agenda and share it among IE’s global community
- Hold conferences and events such as Venture Days (IE already organizes these events, where entrrepreneurs & investors meets, all over the world).
The IE Foundation supports IE’s China strategy through a scholarship program, applied research and social innovation. The project will also be supported by IE’s back office and infrastructure.
